Some valiant warriors have chosen to sacrifice their own essence to the soul forge, in hopes of perpetuating their legacy after death. Using the essence of the fallen, powerful weapons are forged with the echoes of past hero's.

I wanted to create a fun stylized handpainted game asset. I started by sketching a color concept of the hammer and anvil, then I modeled in Blender and sculpted some details in Zbrush. Then I used substance Painter along with Photoshop for texturing.
